Threads continues its aggressive growth trajectory, officially reaching 400 million monthly active users. In response to this expanding audience, Meta has introduced significant updates to the Threads Marketing API, designed to enhance campaign performance and optimize content management workflows.
These updates provide advertisers with new customer acquisition channels and robust tools for brand reputation management.
Advertisers can now scale mobile application campaigns directly within the Threads feed. With the latest Marketing API update, support for App Ads is now available globally.
Key Update Features:
APP_INSTALLS objective, along with app event optimization for LINK_CLICKS or CONVERSIONS.Alongside expanded advertising capabilities, Meta is prioritizing Brand Safety. New moderation features within the Threads Marketing API allow advertisers to maintain full control over user interactions under sponsored posts.

To utilize moderation tools, apps must have the following permissions for the ad account:
ads_read— Required to view replies.ads_management— Required to hide or respond to replies.
